The College of Sciences at Babil University organized a scientific workshop on the Bologna Process, attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Mansour, the Dean, Dr. Mohammed Hadi Shenin, and the Administrative Assistant, Yahya Fahim. During the workshop, Dr. Ahmed Saadoun Abbas presented a lecture titled 'The Mechanism of Implementing the Bologna Process.' The workshop covered essential terms in the Bologna Process outlined in the guide distributed by the University's Planning and Monitoring Department. The lecture included details on calculating scheduled and unscheduled study hours for students. It also discussed the credit transfer and accumulation system, fundamental to implementing the Bologna Process. Each unit in this system equals 25 hours, requiring a student to complete 750 hours in an academic year. In other words, a student needs 240 units to graduate, equivalent to approximately 6000 hours."
