The University of Babylon is one of the largest universities in Iraq. It is situated on the banks of the Euphrates River in the province of Babil in central Iraq. The institution is made up of 21 colleges spread across three main locations in Hilla. The central university campus is in the medical colleges complex in the center of Hilla -Al-Iskan.

The university's vice president for scientific affairs, Dr. Mohammed Mansour, inspected the exam halls at the College of Sciences to assess the college's readiness for the competitive exams for postgraduate applicants. He was accompanied by the dean of the college, Dr. Mohammed Hadi Shneen, and the scientific assistant, Dr. Ahmed Saadoun Abbas .Vice president for scientific affairs , inquired about the nature of the questions presented by the students and their alignment with the curriculum. He praised the college's efforts in exam preparations and the setup of dedicated halls. Towards the end of his visit, vice president for scientific affairs met with the students during their interviews, wishing them success and good fortune.
